d2x gomule stashes from the old gomule require more work to bring forward, see the "IV. For old characters brought forward, they must first be opened in D2R before muling items into the new gomule.

Characters and items have been transferring forward by players to D2R without any issues, but as always please make a backup of your character to avoid any problems before transferring as there have been some rare reports of items disappearing.
